The Inevitable End

In our modern world, death is often avoided, dismissed, or feared. We talk about living our best lives and focus on health, success, and happiness, but we rarely pause to consider the certainty of death. In the bible, particularly in the book of Job, we are reminded of the unavoidable nature of death. Job, in his suffering, grapples iwht the brevity and finality of life.

In Job 7:7-10, Job reflects on the transient nature of human existence, reminding us of the temporary nature of our lives. The three truths about death include its dreaded duration, definitive departure, and doomed destination, all of which stir us to live with greater purpose and a deeper sense of accountability to God.
